My Name is Lizbet Hernandez, I am 15 years old. I was raised in Watts CA. I am a very goofy person, but I am also really shy. My role in the group is media team. If I have the opportunity to help someone I will, that is one of the reasons why I decided to join GBLA because I want to bring awareness to something that has been happening for a long time.Growing up in Watts you see a lot of women being mistreated and that made me want to speak up for the ones that are scared to.

My name is Maria Rodriguez, I am 18 years old. I was born in Puebla, Mexico. My parents decided to migrate to the United States of America when I was 4 years old. I am person with a learning disability. Throughout the years I learn to “ NEVER GIVE UP.” As an hispanic woman with a learning disability, I have been discriminated not only for that but also for being woman and having brown skin. Girls Build LA Club is an opportunity to learn more about the women's out there with the same situation and successful.
My name is Jasmine Rodriguez , I am 18 years old and a senior at Simon Technology High School. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
I am Estefani Hernandez, an aspiring college student and FBI Agent. I am currently a diligent junior at Simon Technology High School. I plan on attending either UC Irvine, Cal State Long Beach, or Cal State LA. I have been in Girl’s Build LA for 2 years along with being apart of the Social Justice Club. I joined GBLA because I am a feminist and believe that females have the potential to accomplish brilliant things in life. My role in GBLA is a presenter.

My role in this club was to collect data and present it in our advisory classes. In addition to being part of this club I am also part of the senior committee and an internship program at The Reverence Project.
